About us

Young  Talents is a non-profit association for culture and innovation that brings together and supports artists, designers, curators, producers, technologists, researchers, educators, and other creative makers.

The mission of the organization is to engage emerging creative talents across various disciplines via artistic commissions, project development, mobility, and knowledge exchange initiatives as well as public events. It was established in 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic, and operates both locally and internationally.

Among the most visible annual public outputs, there are Fresh Film Fest (showcasing first features and student films), designSUPERMARKET, and SIGNAL (the first Prague light festival with 500,000 visitors per year).

Since 2012, the association has gradually been expanding the scope of its activities to include -in a long-term and sustainable manner-incubation and audience development schemes within an interdisciplinary field where art meets design, technology, and public space.

The association is an initiator and participant of various creative partnerships, platforms, and networks.

In 2014, Young Talents has become the coordinator of the ALIPI (Advancing Light-driven Public Interactions) project and the partner in SPECTRUM project – both realized with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
